About Adrian McGrady | Adrian McGrady is a flutist from the Corning/Elmira area. Adrian has had the opportunity to perform statewide as a solo artist and as a member of many ensembles. Currently, Adrian is preparing for his fourth solo performance in St. Petersburg for his “A Flutist Journey” tour.
About Kai DonDero | Kai DonDero (they/them) is a theatre artist, performer, and playwright. They are dedicated to creating works of art which incite the asking of questions from an audience, and challenge societal standards.
About Louise A. Blum | Louise A. Blum is the author of two books, Amnesty and You’re Not From Around Here, Are You? A Lesbian in Small-Town America, as well as numerous essays and short stories. Her jobs have included: English professor, community organizer, activist, and public health worker. She lives in Corning, NY with her wife, Connie Sullivan-Blum, and their psychotic terrier.
About Connie Sullivan-Blum | Connie Sullivan-Blum is the Executive Director of The ARTS Council of the Southern Finger Lakes. Connie has been married to Louise Sullivan-Blum for 35 years. For the last 24 years, they have lived in Corning where they raised their daughter, Zoe.
About Mark Schmidt | Originally from Monterey, NY, Mark Schmidt is a choreographer, performer, curator and educator who first found solace on the dance floors of New York City’s queer night clubs and underground house scene in the 1990s. His recent work explores these unique social spaces as cultural security zones that simultaneously function as sites of resistance and community building. Along with collaborator Remi Harris, he is a co-founder of JoyFlux, a performance production collective that engages communities through the triad of performance, line dance and dance parties.
