Meet Hannah (She/They)
Co-Founder & Executive Director
Hannah Jones (she/they) has a background in youth development, sexuality, and social justice education. She has been a social justice speech writer, facilitator, youth worker, and sex educator. Her professional background has flown her all over the United States and Canada teaching diversity, training professionals, as well as building curriculums for schools and nonprofits. Currently, she is a sociology professor at Corning Community College. With a master’s in Social Justice and Education and a working PhD in Social Justice Education, Hannah can combine her professional and educational skills with her passion for the LGBTQ+ community. Being part of the community herself, she strives to make Corning and the surrounding areas a more inclusive and supportive home for all youth.

Meet Sage (They/Them)
Community and Youth Program Specialist
Sage Ulrich (They/Them) works as a dance and theater teacher for 171 Cedar Arts Center and as a professional non-profit administrative worker based in upstate New York. Sage graduated from Sarah Lawrence College in 2019 with a Bachelor’s in Liberal Arts and a concentration in Queer Studies and Dance. As a Corning local, Sage is very passionate about creating a safe space for LGBTQ+ youth in the area. They are honored to join the SOFLX Pride team in their mission to empower and support the LGBTQ+ community across the Southern Finger Lakes.

Meet Amanda (She/Her)
Board Secretary
Amanda Crans (she/her) works as the Social Media and Photography Specialist at the Corning Museum of Glass and has been a member of the Corning Pride board since 2021. At the Museum, she also is a member of the LGBTQ+ Employee Resource Group and the Museum’s internal DEI team. Amanda graduated from Binghamton University with a Bachelor’s in History in 2014 and from Syracuse University with a Master’s in Museum Studies in 2016. A long-time Southern Tier resident, Amanda is happy to make her home with her husband in the Finger Lakes and enjoys hiking, kayaking, and gardening. “As a bisexual woman, it’s important for me to serve and support our local LGBTQ+ community in whatever ways I possibly can. I’m very proud and honored to join the executive board as the secretary,”

Meet Meghan (She/Her)
Events Curator
As a Community Based Arts Practitioner, and Theatremaker, Meghan O'Toole utilizes the power of the arts to build community through theatre production, instruction and creative event direction for local organizations. Most recently she directed The Laramie Project for SoFLX Pride. Beyond the arts, Meghan's love language has always been feeding people which she actively does as a part time cook for Corning Meals on Wheels. BA, Theatre Arts and Certificate in Creative Placemaking, NJIT.

Meet Wilder (She/They)
Communications Curator
Tina Ingemi (She/They) M.Ed. Tina is our newest team member, self-identified design gremlin and font fairy, who is behind the SoFLX Pride rebrand. Tina is a queer, licensed school counselor with 18 years of multinational youth work experience and leadership. This Bridgwater State University (BA) and Providence College (MEd) alumn was raised by the East Coast, (Massachusetts) and has lived across the US and in Toronto, Canada working in youth and community care-centered spaces. This introverted Aquarius, rescue dog mom, and snack enthusiast’s dream is to build a homestead with lots of land and animals.

Marah McCauley (She/Her)
Marah McCauley (she/her) works as an engineer and has her Bachelor’s in Energy Engineering and certificate in Business Fundamentals from Penn State, with a background in sustainability. She’s a strong proponent for the importance of the social aspect of sustainability and the often overlooked role diversity plays in it. As a queer person raised in the Southern Finger Lakes, Marah’s passionate about celebrating and empowering the local LGBTQ+ community and is so grateful to be a part of the incredible work being done by SoFLX Pride towards this mission. She’s also a dog mom to her 90 lb beagle Dexter, who is a very supportive ally.

Michael Herceg (He/Him)
Michael (he/him) is brand new to the board this year. With a Masters in business from Binghamton University, he advises small businesses (for free) at the local Small Business Development Center, advocating for LGBTQ+ businesses statewide. Michael loves watching movies, anything outside, and connecting with the local queer community. He is a parent to two pet snails Dave and Buster.
