THIS GROUP IS FOR YOU IF: You have questions about the queer/trans experience. You are processing a newly out friend, colleague, or loved one, for those who are learning how to offer support and advocate during specific situations. You are seeking community with other friends/family/neighbors of queer and trans folks.
Meeting Format: Our meetings typically consist of facilitated discussions, educational workshops, and group activities. Members are encouraged to participate at their own comfort level, whether they wish to actively engage in discussions or simply listen and absorb support.
Topics of Discussion: Our group covers a wide range of topics relevant to the transgender and non-binary experience, including but not limited to:
Gender identity exploration
Coming out experiences
Social, legal, and medical transitioning
Mental health and self-care
Confidentiality: We prioritize confidentiality and respect within our group. What is shared within meetings stays within meetings, fostering a trusting environment where members can freely express themselves without fear of judgment or disclosure.
